Local Auto Racing-Wall Stadium

Fans of auto racing do not have to travel all the way to Pocono PA or Dover Del to see great racing. There are some local tracks that provide the same thrill of side by side racing, but at half the cost of the major tracks. Tickets at Dover and Pocono range from $35-$95 a piece.

Wall Stadium is the last remaining asphalt modified oval track in New Jersey.
The location of this track is ideal for people who want to spend the day at the beach before heading to the races and it is close enough for people who just want to see the races. It's located just an hour away from Mercer County near the intersection of rt 195 and the Garden State Parkway.

Drivers come from as far away as North Carolina and many frequently migrate from the New England states to run at Wall Stadium. The biggest race of the year is always the famed Turkey Derby. Last year the Turkey Derby drew so many people, it was standing room only in the grandstand area. The largest attendance ever in the track's 90- year history.

The atmosphere of this track is like a county fair. The air is filled with the aroma of popcorn, hamburgers and funnel cakes. The grandstand offers a great view from almost every seat. The action on track is always exciting and the track announcers give exciting calls of the races.

This is a family friendly venue. Every week the winner of the first feature race draws two tickets. These tickets give one boy and one girl a free child's bicycle. ( The names are entered into the drawing by their parents at the as they come through the front gate.)

After the races are over for the night, the fans are invited to visit the drivers in the garage area to meet the drivers and crews and get autographs.
